Our History
Construction Logic, Inc (CLI) is a small and innovative San Diego builder founded in 1998, on the basic premise of utilizing in-depth technical building experience with complex facilities to deliver higher value building services to better help our clients optimize and improve their building utilization or space use requirements within their existing facility, or out-dated space configurations.Under the principal leadership of Robert Gilmour and Kreigan Brink, Construction Logic, Inc. (CLI) delivers a focused and in-depth technical construction and facility building service experience, that consistently out-performs expectations, and continually enhances building value for our clients.
Each principle of CLI has worked in the engineering and construction industry for more than twenty years. The diverse and in-depth experience delivered from each professional at CLI helps to insure that each project is completed on time, under budget and with exceptional quality. Our Professional and Project Experience
Robert Gilmour | President / CFO has a degree in civil engineering from the University of Arizona, is a registered EIT, licensed class B General Contractor, designed numerous architectural, civil and structural projects, and delivers exceptional service from over twenty-five years of experience working on various projects in the engineering and construction industry ranging in complexity from Design | Build Acid Waste Treatment Systems to custom built class 1,000 clean-room construction to the relocation and installation of numerous mission critical medical and process industrial equipment. Robert has managed projects with budgets exceeding $15 million and has played significant roles in projects with $1.5 billion budgets with projects in the construction of healthcare facilities, manufacturing, biopharmaceutical, microelectronic, related tenant improvements, and other industrial process facilities.
Kreigan Brink | Vice President With a degree in Construction Management from Arizona State University, related studies completed from UCSD, and as a previously licensed appraiser and general contractor, Kreigan delivers twenty-three years of facility | building experience grown from estimating, building and managing complex facilities of over 1.4 million sq. feet of completed advanced tech building space ranging in size from $5,000 to $50 million. Kreigan’s unique and diverse skill-set helps deliver successful optimization from every phase of facility / lab utilization; from lab equipment relocation and lab space optimization to facility consolidation. His cost modeling space use alternatives from equipment asset optimization with many technically and logistically challenging facilities, such as R & D labs, vivariums, clinical and medical manufacturing, pilot plants, fill & finish facilities, large scale biological manufacturing and distribution and high-tech manufacturing allows him to provide a higher value of facility / lab space optimization while minimizing risks to the project stakeholders.

CLI specializes in small to medium size projects with a focused effort towards the Life Science and high-tech
related fields such as biotech, pharmaceuticals, bio-medical, genomic, neuro-technology, healthcare, industrial, manufacturing, advanced technology, and related office tenant improvement segments of the local construction industry.
CLI's services historically range in project size from $5,000 to $5.0 million dollar range and has provided Construction Management Services on projects with budgets up to $15 million dollars. CLI delivers a majority
of our services on a negotiated basis, with a smaller selection secured by select list proposals and the
comparative scope | competitive bid process.
